Caught UP!!!!!

Finally I'm Caught Up!!!!!

I love Character Construction Stamps.  I guess they nurture my Inner Child.  I love to make Paper Dolls and fortunately I have a lovely group of ladies that love Paper Dolls too!

After doing our valentines I was inspired to create a project out of the Character Construction Dolls and the Graphic 45 Time to Flourish Monthly Paper
Jackie Peters was also part of this inspiration from a door prize I won at one of her classes.
So hence was born the Calendar Girls!
The idea is to display the Calendar Girl of the month in the Spools that was found at Michaels

Catchin' Up January 2015

It's a new year!!!
My husband and I will celebrate our 35 wedding anniversary this July and we will have a new grandson right about the same time!

We only did a couple of projects this January, but I loved them both.

PION Paper has some of the most beautiful vintage paper that I have ever seen.  This beautiful winter wonderland paper made a beautiful shadow box.

A cute snowman made a wintery welcome to the Happy New Year!

Catchin' Up Christmas

I just loved all the projects we did this Christmas!  They took some time, but the results were beautiful.

First up was a Kaisercraft Advent Box
There was obviously a lot of detail to making this box.  We all used the same vintage Santa and CTMH background paper. All the ladies made their drawers unique.

This is a Santa Cigar Box that I made for a present swap Using Bo Bunny Candy Cane Lane

My final Christmas projects were made as gifts for my family

Night Before Christmas and Christmas Story Books were made for my son and daughter.
Every Christmas Eve before they went to bed we read the Night Before Christmas and the Christmas Story. Those were such treasured memories for me.  I wanted these books to contain glimpses of those memories of Christmas' past and room for them to add their own family memories as time goes on,

My final project of 2014 was for me Sweetie.

This mixed media contains pictures of us at the same age on Santa's lap.  Both were taken at the Sears that was the only game in town back in 1963.

Catchin' Up Thanksgiving

As our thoughts turned to just how blessed we are, we had a few of sweet projects that expressed that thought.
